Be careful when handling glass jars. Wash before first use. Avoid dropping or hitting any glass jars carefully. Do not expose to extreme heat, direct sunlight or other sources of heat as this may cause the color to fade and the jar to crack. Always keep your glass jars in an upright position to avoid leakage and breakage. After opening, cover with a lid and store at room temperature away from direct sunlight for up to six months, or refrigerate for up to one year for longer storage.

Wash your jars with hot soapy water, rinsing well. Then sterilize them by submerging them in boiling water for 10 minutes or by running them through the dishwasher on a hot cycle. Never store food in the same jar that you use for canning or pickling because this may contaminate it with bacteria from previous fillings
